Training Courses
Every young person has a preferred method of how to learn and develop. Training courses is a way that young people can learn new skills that will help them develop and gain the skills necessary to give them a better chance at entering the workforce,
These courses are designed to be completed from anything from 2 weeks up to 6 months. Some courses focus on certain industry skills like construction, health & Beauty, Admin etc. Others focus on developing and improving literacy and numeracy skills, I.T skills, social and personal skills and employability skills.
These courses come with gaining not only new skills but also with qualifications. The environments of these courses are not like school, yes there is aspects of doing work but your treated as young adults, address staff on first name basis etc. Even though it is very informal there are still rules like in a job.
